Experienced torrenters

Hello everyone!

So here's my dilemma...I'm trying to download the Bourne Identity audio book torrent.

*I don't normally use that site, but it links to the file I need on multiple sites.

They all require registration with www.SEEDMORE.org. It took me a few days, but I managed to register on their site. My download still will not begin, even if I leave it open for 8 hours. Unless there's some step I am missing on how the torrent knows I'm registered with SEEDMORE, if anyone has any advice it'd be great. Thanks!

Looks like a good site Shari, but both the torrents on there require private tracking again.

I use a program called uTorrent and my favorite website to find good torrents is www.isohunt.com, forgive me if I'm answering the wrong question but you shouldn't go wrong with those two. you can also use thepriatebay.org for torrents to if you like.

sup monok. i use demonoid.com and the torrent program called utorrent as levanthanon previously stated. The reason that you may have the torrenter open and the dl hasn't began yet is maybe only 1 person is seeding that file that you need and he/she may not be online. torrenting is pretty random especially with fairly rare files. Your download could begin and you could be getting great kb/s and then randomly just stop dling cause seeder turned off his comp. Check demonoid, it has a lot more stuff on it, isohunt is also good.

The problem is the registration. I somehow have to be registered with www.seedmore.org to be able to download it. I see the file on multiple sites, with at least 8 seeds, but none will connect due to the registration restriction.

then i have no idea. i've only had to sign up for demonoid and i never get any restrictions.

You need to sign up for that site because they want to check your ratios. BitComet and BitLord lie to the trackers and don't report your ratios properly (so that you can hammer seeders for bigger download rates) so most private torrents won't let you on using those.

What torrent program are you using? Try something that's not a filthy liar... try uTorrent

<3 utorrent, you do have to sign up but its really fast. just make sure you seed your recent dl's for a few days after they finish so that you can keep your ratio up. if you get a ratio too low they cancel your account until you seed back up to an appropriate level.
