maladie's Recruitment Application - Warlock 0/13/58

maladie's Application

Character Information
Character Name: maladie
Character Class: Warlock
Character Race: Undead
Talent Spec: 0/13/58
How many pieces of 226/232+ level items do you have?: all except trinkets (trinkets are still really good ones)
Profession 1: Inscription
Profession 2: Enchanting
Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...zzar&n=Máladie this link is going to an armory error page, not sure why, maybe the alt code. Search armory for Máladie on Balnazzar, and that is me. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Interface: http://tinypic.com/m/5k506g/1
As for my UI, it's pretty plain which is how I prefer it. During a raid I have grid and omen visible, but not recount.

Person Information
Gender: f
Age: 29
Timezone: est
TG raids 5 days a week when the content demands it, 6:30-11:30 EST Sunday to Thursday. Would you be able to maintain an 80% attendance rate?: yes
Do you know anyone in TG who would vouch for your skill as a player? If so, who?: no

What is you previous guild history and explain any reasons why you left them. (long answer):
oblivion-casual friends guild, left to raid.
betrayal-muru killed betrayal.
tasty beverage-irl crits, many people left, raiding became very tedious rather than challenges overcome with friends. went casual.
casually serious-will discuss
Have you ever been a raid leader, class leader, officer, or website administrator with another guild? (long answer):
website administrator for oblivion. (i do have a cs degree)
organized/sold za bears in tbc to support raiding costs for guild members.
successfully lead casually serious' 10 man group from 4/9 uld 10 hardmodes to 9/9 and an algalon kill.
Why do you want to join TG over another guild on this server? (long answer):
TG seems to be serious, balanced, stable, and professional. This is what I am seeking in a new home. I am looking for a group of friends and a VERY professional raiding environment, and I think TG may be able to offer that.
Please describe in detail your previous raid experience, pre-BC, BC, and current content. Include information if you participated in pre-nerf kills, legitimate attunements (such as Hand of A’dal), etc. (long answer):
I was casual pre-bc, pugged a few raids but nothing noteworthy. I cleared all tbc content pre-nerf, un through KJ. I am attuned for everything in tbc and pre-bc, and have many titles and acheivements (check my armory! ./flex), including the highly desirable 'Champion of the Naaru' title. In wrath, I have cleared all content. I completed gotr, gotur, and have killed algalon 10 man (i'm a pro collapsing star killer). I ahve completed most of hgotr and hgotur. I ahve not yet done any toc hardmodes.
Explain in detail the way you DPS/Heal/Tank, rotations, gear selection, gemming, etc. Convince us that you have thorough and extensive knowledge of your class. Links to WWS or similar performance recording tools are helpful. (long answer):
My rotation is (often i try to prestack trinkets using rank 1 lifetap, and I use this sometimes when I'm running around and need to keep stack up) immol>conflag>doom> cbolt incin spam, conflag when it's up, cbolt when it's up, doom when it's up. The reason for the conflag before the doom is to try to get pyroclasm procs and a higher doom hit. 3.2 changes to glyph of lifetap have made it a bit better than glyph of immolate, so I'd like to pick up and swap out some gear to drop hit, down to 289 (3/13/55 spec) then replace that glyph and add lt into my rotation. It's kinda mah right now because with imp soul leech theres no reason to lifetap alot. This is just the next thing I'm gonna do as soon as I have the chance.
As far as stats go:
Warlock_T8_00_13_58 Sta=0.00 Int=0.31 Spi=1.02 SP=1.59 Hit=3.57 Crit=0.82 Haste=1.10
That's simcraft for my spec and gear. That's pretty much how I weigh out what gear I pick and how I gem. It's pretty straightforward. I read EJ to review specs and what stat is best, but thats usually about the same.

There's a most recent wws for me. I can provide some more if you like, but they're not quite as current.
Describe your gaming system. Your computer needs to be good enough to not cause problems raiding. Frame lag, ping, connection problems, not using a microphone + Ventrilo or crashing is not acceptable. (long answer):
Quad core 2.4 ghz, 4g ram, ati 5830 gpu. I get about 60fps in dal and abuot 30 or more in raids, during raids. I have a stable computer and connection. I use vent and a mic.
Why are you worth being one of the 25 people in a raid? Please list anything else you'd like to mention about yourself that we might have missed. (long answer):
I am a good hearted person who takes raiding as if it were a second job. I do enjoy it and I do it to have fun, however, when it comes to punctuality and performance, 24 other people are depending on me, that is part of what drives me to do my best and constantly improve. That's another reason I really want a guild that I am a good social fit with. I am punctual, prepared, and analytical. I have not been late (without posting) or missed more than about 10 raids over the past 3 years. I adapt extremely well to new encouters. I am not obnoxiously outspoken but I am not shy either, and I feel that I can bring some good observations to the table. I read tankspot religiously when I am trying to learn or plan a fight for a group, and I watch every vid I can find. I am good at picking up on new strategies and when I do make a mistake, I am very good at not doing that again. You can rely on me to put out good dps while avoiding the hazards of wow, and for being there to goof off with after the raid is over.
As far as I can interpret from your post and this application, I would encounter a very fair trial period here should I be accepted. I would like to emphasize that I am looking for a group that will embrace a new person professionally and personally. I welcome any criticism, you can yell at me and point out what I could be doing better and that is fine. I love to attend raids where the leader has taken time to point out any details that may be missing from strats or vids. I love to discuss how it might be possible to improve an encounter as a whole. I hope that I would be listened and respected in the same manner that I will offer to you. I would like to hear any responses or advice on what I could expect as a trial in TG.
Can you handle criticism?: I welcome any criticism or advice for improvement. I am willing to sit but I hope that you will find I am the type of person you won't want to sit very often.
How can we contact you?: pyroflower44@gmail.com (primary email)
pyroflower44@hotmail.com (msn ID, not primary email)
Köre on shadowmoon server (alt 148)

I was on shadowmoon then frostmane during tbc. Drak'thul for a while (whole guild xferred). Balnazzar is recent. Tbh the server is really boring. On another note, I'm considering changing to belf fem when race changes become available.
