DPS Meters and ZG info

So since ZG is being removed, i went to try to solo myself a tiger mount. Raptor mount, no problem. Tiger mount, bit of a problem as a caster. That chain silence + kick has so far had the fight end in failure. Any casters have a sure fire way to do tiger boss? I'm thinking at the moment it is just a gear problem and i need to upgrade some of my lvl 70 gear. I should probably do this fight in pvp gear (when i get some).

And on DPS meters, what are the popular DPS meters these days? And does DBM still reign for boss mods?

Spriest should be able to solo tiger, but I'm not totally sure about that.


DPS meters = Recount (most people use) or Skada (some people use)



Mostly a preference thing but Recount is probably what you want.

I soloed ZG as Disc using Atonement and a shield. It took a little while but it wasn't too terrible.

I like DXE (Dues Vox Encounters) for my DBM replacement, and I use SKADA for my meter.

Skada is less resource intensive / lower memory usage as well so if that's a concern can take that into account.

Not sure if the evade bug with the tiger boss still works but if it's still there you could do that (youtube it).

Skada has a built in threat meter too FYI.

its easy to solo as shadow, just takes a bit of luck, and proper sfiend/fade usage. It was pretty difficult when you had to keep up IF, but now you dont take substancial dmg

and as too the door bug you have to get it to reset 2 times and die, then on the third time it will work, idk why it takes 2 reset + deaths but ive done it almost every reset until 4.0 like that

When i went for wall jump/pathing bug on tiger i learned she now summons you directly back to her location rather than chase you :)

I think it is just a gear thing for me atm.

On a side note, how much +dmg does a well geared spriest have these days?

Also, someone was nice enough to let me know today that i can just buy arena gear regardless of rating. So i can go WSG my way to greatness.
