TG raids 5 days a week when the content demands it, 6:30-11:30 EST Sunday to Thursday. Would you be able to maintain an 80% attendance rate?: Yes, I can foresee noting stopping me from attending these raid times.
Do you know anyone in TG who would vouch for your skill as a player? If so, who?: Have not transferred yet.
What is you previous guild history and explain any reasons why you left them. (long answer):
I am currently in the guild Prophecy of Rexxar. I am dissatisfied with the raiding going on at this point. I was recruited as a tank and have since earned a reservist spot, meaning that I was almost guranteed a spot in raids. I have to sit out over half the time, and when I do get in, I am not allowed to tank. I feel that I need to find a new guild that will not necessarily let me raid more often, but let me experience the encounters in the capacity that I was recruited in.
Have you ever been a raid leader, class leader, officer, or website administrator with another guild? (long answer):
I was a class leader in a guild called Dark Omen before I became a serious raider.
I have also lead many raids in Naxx/OS/VoA/Maly, but nothing in Ulduar.
Why do you want to join TG over another guild on this server? (long answer):
I feel that TG has a lot to offer, as do I. TG will allow me to seriously raid end game content, and this is where I wish my WoW career to go. I know that I can tank almost any hard mode, and joining TG will allow me to prove this to myself. Also, TG has perfect raid times for me.
Please describe in detail your previous raid experience, pre-BC, BC, and current content. Include information if you participated in pre-nerf kills, legitimate attunements (such as Hand of A’dal), etc. (long answer):
I hit 70 on my rogue not long before WotLK was released. I successfully raided Kara, Mag's, Gruul and 3/4 TK (excluding KT). In WotLK I have raided these on my DK:
VoA 10/25 3/3
Naxx 10/25
Maly 10
Maly 25 (27%, drake noobs)
OS 10: 3D
OS 25: 1D
Ulduar 10: 12/14 with various hard modes.
Ulduar 25: 13/14 with a few hardmodes.
ToC 10/25: 5/5
Explain in detail the way you DPS/Heal/Tank, rotations, gear selection, gemming, etc. Convince us that you have thorough and extensive knowledge of your class. Links to WWS or similar performance recording tools are helpful. (long answer):
I am a Blood tank. My aim is to maximize my survivability and threat, which is what my build is focused upon. It is a customized built that I have seen used in other tanks, and it serves it's purpose well, maximising AoE and single target tanking. My glyphs reflect my spec : Rune Strike, Vampiric Blood and Death Strike, all going towards threat and survivability.
I gem/gear/enchant for Stamina. Stamina is the only viable thing to gear for in end game content, as if you gem for avoidance you risk the wrath of the RNG. I have 38.9k HP unbuffed, a respectable amount. With just a few pieces of gear I could hit the 40k mark.
I feel that I have done all that I can to improve my tanking set, and I hope it reflects in my performance.
Describe your gaming system. Your computer needs to be good enough to not cause problems raiding. Frame lag, ping, connection problems, not using a microphone + Ventrilo or crashing is not acceptable. (long answer):
My computer is fairly standard, with 3 GB of ram and a 2.5 GHz processor. I can run 30-40 FPS at medium settings in a 25 man raid. My internet connection is very stable, and I have never dced in a raid without outside interference (weather, power outages). While my computer is not optimized, it does allow me to play at a very high level.
Why are you worth being one of the 25 people in a raid? Please list anything else you'd like to mention about yourself that we might have missed. (long answer):
I am a dedicated raider. I am willing to spend a large amount of time and gold to get new content down. I will stack consumables and repair all night long if need be. I will always strive to perform at my best and aim to never let my guild down. This, I think, is what qualifies me to be an end game raider.
Can you handle criticism?: Yes. I feel that criticism is a key part of raiding. Not notifying others about mistakes they are making can cripple a player in the long run.
