TG raids 5 days a week when the content demands it, 6:30-11:30 EST Sunday to Thursday. Would you be able to maintain an 80% attendance rate?: Easily
Do you know anyone in TG who would vouch for your skill as a player? If so, who?: No
What is you previous guild history and explain any reasons why you left them. (long answer):
I have been in five guilds I in in my Wow career beginning with Vanilla years ago. My first and second guilds I left because players were being poached or leaving continuously. They didn't complete even BWL and while I maintained 90+% raid attendance I saw little reward for my efforts. My third and fourth guilds (Retaliation:Skullcrusher and Defiance:Eldre'thalas) were competing with Alliance side for top on our servers through Naxx, SSC, TK, Hyjal, and BT. Both imploded due to leadership leaving for various reasons which landed me in my most recent guild. I joined Immortalis when they were working on Illidian and starting Sunwell. They pushed hard and completed both zones before the expansion albeit after the patch that made Muru easier. In the expansion I slowly watched the momentum slow and over the course of a month or so 9 of our core raiders were poached or left for The Afflicted, which has since taken Horde first on our server. The guild limped through Naxx, Eye, and Ulduar completing all but the Immortal achievement and making it to Vezaxx before it finally died two weeks ago. I decided to take some time off to clear burnout and start looking for a guild but with 3.2 happening now I had to move up my timetable.
Have you ever been a raid leader, class leader, officer, or website administrator with another guild? (long answer):
I have been a raid leader without the title in my most recent guild in an attempt to try to push through Ulduar. The week before we barely cleared to Hodir while everything up to Vezaxx was on farm. The week I started we made it to Vezaxx in 2 days of raiding. I was an officer and tank lead for a month or so before that although my experience with it was marred by lack of good communication and general burnout. I have been offered an officer position in 2 previous guilds but declined because I didn't want to deal with the stress. Now that I have seen what it can be like at its worst I regret not stepping up.
Why do you want to join TG over another guild on this server? (long answer):
I personally have no ill will toward the The Afflicted but I wanted a new start. I went to Horde recruitment and found you looking for ferals who can both dps and tank. You are top on your guild, are on a pvp server and have a large population base. I'm tired of joining guilds that look promising but fail. I refuse to be in another guild that sees the edge but can't look out from it.
Please describe in detail your previous raid experience, pre-BC, BC, and current content. Include information if you participated in pre-nerf kills, legitimate attunements (such as Hand of A’dal), etc. (long answer):

Sartharion: Killed 3D post a bunch of nerfs
Ulduar: never finished
Explain in detail the way you DPS/Heal/Tank, rotations, gear selection, gemming, etc. Convince us that you have thorough and extensive knowledge of your class. Links to WWS or similar performance recording tools are helpful. (long answer):
Feral dps came in large part through their bleeds but with the recent changes to Armor Penetration the top dps ability has shifted so that 30+% of our dps is made up from Shred. This shifted our gemming and gearing priority from straight agility stacking like a rogue or hunter might to stacking armor penetration. Assuming you are hit capped at ~263 you need to be between 22-26 Expertise before you stack armor penetration. It is not necessary for you to be at the Exp cap to maintain high dps but close is a must. Eliminating as many dodges as possible is essential to maintaining high dps with your Shreds and maintaining your rotation. From there the list of stats I value are Agility, Crit rating, Haste, and AP. Agility and crit add to my dps the largest after the aforementioned stats by making my shreds and rips hit harder and crit more often. Haste increases my white damage and increases the chance for Omen procs in doing so. It is important, especially after the recent 30% boost, however it gives the relatively lowest overall increase per rating. I glyph for SR/Shred/rip as SR and rip are always up and my rotation easily allows my shreds to quickly buff the bleed by 6 seconds. I enchant for agi where possible and ap where it is not.
My rotation, due to having four-piece t8:
Mangle, kept up at all times unless a manglebot is present
1 -2 point SR up at all times
Rake, kept up at all times
TF every time its up provided Energy is less than 40 and I will have 6 secs of solid dps time (will be saved for right before a berserk if the situation allows me to plan that far)
Shred for combo points
5pt Rip, kept up at all times
Berserk w/haste potion (when available) during periods of little movement or no debuffs that would force me to stop dps
My talent spread is: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0ZEMMcfrz0eR0huAkbAczb
All of these talents help with my rotation but I have 3 free floating points in my feral tree that are currently in Imp mangle. If a manglebot is present in raids often enough I spec out of it to get Nurturing and Survival instincts to give myself more survivability in learning experiences or go into feral instinct if enough aoe situations present themselves for it to be meaningful. I see no point in putting 5 points into furor since power-shifting got shot down so those 2 points go into Imp Mark for the Attribute increase.
Feral tanking for me has always been about the tps. I prefer straight agi gemming while using armor pen./haste/ and crit hand-in-hand to up it as far as I can go. Agi and crit by themselves make up a large portion of my tps and mitigation increase as they allow my Mangles, Lacerates, and Mauls to crit as often as possible. This in turn also keeps savage defense up as much as possible to add to my survivability. Armor penn and haste make my mauls hit faster and harder which is currently the largest tps gain for me. Due to my role as an offtank most of the time I glyph for maul/shred/SR to allow me to swap over and still aid dps while I'm not tanking anything but for pure tanking it would be maul/survival instincts/frenzied regen. I am at a level of hit and exp that my growls and mangles almost never miss and so it is not worth it to have those glyphs. I enchant for ai where possible and ap where it is not.
My rotation has always been to mangle off the bat, lacerate once, and then swipe until mangle is up. Since the lacerate nerf its increased tps after the first application is not enough to warrant using it over swipe. By simply refreshing it before it falls off it will be at 5 stacks quickly without needing more attention. My maul is macroed to all these abilities and so will be used every attack. Using this rotation I have never had problems with aggro and it became a point of pride that dps preferred me over other tanks in my guild because they could go balls out on targets rather than holding back most of the time.
My talent spread for tanking is: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0ZxGGsfrzceoc0zAkbAczb
My talents have varied over time from 0/60/11 to various forms of 0/55/16. As an offtank I prefer the increased sustained damage in bear form over the spike damage both given and taken when I pop Enrage. Given that when I open, if I crit with a majority of my attacks, Enrage gives a substantial tps increase for the start of a fight but that is only for 10 secs. A 4% increase over 60 seconds beats a 15% increase over 10 seconds any day. If my role is pure tanking, however, I would take both. At the level that mobs are hitting right now I can easily drop Shredding attacks to do this.
Describe your gaming system. Your computer needs to be good enough to not cause problems raiding. Frame lag, ping, connection problems, not using a microphone + Ventrilo or crashing is not acceptable. (long answer):
I am running a P4Quadcore on Vista64 with 8gigs of Ram on a 780sli motherboard. My dsl is fast and consistent and I run at about 30-60 fps with less than 200 ping throughout the world. With the exception of shadows all my settings are at or near max. I use Vent and a microphone and use both liberally in pvp and when needed in raids.
Why are you worth being one of the 25 people in a raid? Please list anything else you'd like to mention about yourself that we might have missed. (long answer):
I am a dedicated member of any raid team that is always prepared and ready for raids with all buffs needed. I don't skimp on the pots when called for and I am always ready to change my tactic at the discretion of the raid. I don't have an ego that will rub with anyone and I'm capable of dealing with any individual provided they are not openly hostile. I'm also rather battle-hardened. I've been in 3 guilds with screamers in them so yelling/nerd raging/etc at me or the raid in general doesn't bother me. Beyond that you will just have to find out. :)
Can you handle criticism?: Yes
How can we contact you?: E-mail is fine. I have an iPod touch so whenever I come into my house or get near an open Wifi I see new emails.
