TG raids 5 days a week when the content demands it, 6:30-11:30 EST Sunday to Thursday. Would you be able to maintain an 80% attendance rate?: Yes I would.

Do you know anyone in TG who would vouch for your skill as a player? If so, who?: I was in a voa with forcnasty a couple of weeks ago and was informed TG was looking for locks and suggested that I apply.

What is you previous guild history and explain any reasons why you left them. (long answer): I was originally in Crooklyn Clan. I left Crooklyn about a month ago due to people not showing up to raids and the gm/officers didn't want to try new content. I left Crooklyn and went to Sassy. After the gm took the bank and server transfered, most of us joined a new guild that was started by a few sassy members, Magic. Things were progressing slowly in magic but at least people were showing up and trying new content. Recently, the guild is falling apart and people haven't been showing up for raids.

Have you ever been a raid leader, class leader, officer, or website administrator with another guild? (long answer): I was promoted to officer of Magic and started to help try and restructure the guild. Due to lack of hardcore players, I have been locking my resto shaman and my warlock to our raid id's to help things move on.

Why do you want to join TG over another guild on this server? (long answer):
Tg is the best guild on arthas. I am looking for a guild that is doing hardmodes, progressing, and clearing new content. I spend a lot of time on WoW and don't want to waste it not doing anything worth while.

Please describe in detail your previous raid experience, pre-BC, BC, and current content. Include information if you participated in pre-nerf kills, legitimate attunements (such as Hand of A’dal), etc. (long answer):
When BC released I was level 45. Cleared all content in BC except ssc ( guild fell apart before lady died), TK, hyjal, and BT. After the guild fell apart I mostly did arena on my lock and resto shaman. In Wotlk, I have not done 3d sarth, have cleared and completed most achievements in Naxx 25, cleared up to hodir in 25 uld, up to general in 10 man, have done hardmode deconstructor 10 man. The guild has not had the attendence to do anything more. I'm always on but if one or 2 "core" people are missing, the raid would be called.

Explain in detail the way you DPS/Heal/Tank, rotations, gear selection, gemming, etc. Convince us that you have thorough and extensive knowledge of your class. Links to WWS or similar performance recording tools are helpful. (long answer):
My rotation is: doom, trinket, immolate, chaos bolt, conflag, innerate fillers till conflag is up. I clip the last tick of immolate to refresh and then chaos bolt. Repeat this. I will life tap while relocating or throw it in if i have a sec left on immolate or conflag cd. I gem for spell power and enchant for spell power also. For gear i look at spell power first as long as I stay hit capped. For mimiron in my guild I am the tank for phase 3/4. I switch to demon armor for that part.

Describe your gaming system. Your computer needs to be good enough to not cause problems raiding. Frame lag, ping, connection problems, not using a microphone + Ventrilo or crashing is not acceptable. (long answer):
My computer has a 3 gig processor, 4 gigs of ram, standing in dal i have 40 fps, 38 latency. Only issues I ever have with connection is if a tornado is near by, I live in kansas... damn that wizard of oz.

Why are you worth being one of the 25 people in a raid? Please list anything else you'd like to mention about yourself that we might have missed. (long answer): I am a serious raider, can listen to directions, take orders, ill joke with the best of them. I play my class well and do all I can to make sure I am doing the best I can and have as much knowledge as I can about my class.

Can you handle criticism?: How can we contact you?:
I feel you can't learn if you can't accept being criticized. If I mess up, tell me. I hate messing up whether it's in game or in real life. I make sure to fix any mistakes.

Can contact me in game or by email on my profile. I am always either on my lock (damacles) or my shaman (beldazar). If invited to guild, I can be contacted by text also.

Any reason you trinket after casting doom?

That way I get the full use of the 505 bonus spell power it gives. The trinket is then up for use right before my 2nd doom ticks.

I guess you don't understand how trinkets work then... Because you are going about it wrong. A harmful spell's "power" (damage it does) is determined by the amount of spellpower you have on CAST, not on TICK or even HIT (with the exception of Channeled spells; they reevaluate every tick). If you activate your trinket right before CoD explodes, you will only do the amount of damage as CoD would with the buffs you had when CoD was CASTED.

For instance, if you have 2k spellpower when you cast CoD, it would tick for 11.3k after 60 seconds. Even if you activate your trinket 5 seconds before CoD ticks (giving you, say, +500 spellpower) CoD will still detonate for only 11.3k.

HOWEVER, if you activate your trinket BEFORE you cast CoD (putting your spellpower at 2.5k) CoD will tick for 12.3k even though your trinket is on CD and its buff is not on you.

The same goes for DoTs that have a travel time (Seed of Corruption); even if the buff from the trinket expires from you before the "seed" hits your target, SoC will do damage according to how much spellpower you had on CAST.

It is, however, different for DEBUFFS. For instance, if a warlock puts of CoE onto a target and you cast SoC, if CoE Expires/is removed before the "seed" impacts the target you will not get the damage bonus. The same goes for CoE not being applied before a DoT "lands" on the target; if SoC or Corruption or something is cast on the target and THEN CoE is applied, your DoT will only tick for as much damage as it would have as if CoE had not been casted at all.

One thing I do not understand is how DoT "refresh" works (Everlasting Affliction). Does it refresh the coefficients corruption receives whenever it is "refreshed" by haunt? If so, then we can potentially lose DPS if our trinkets go down when corruption is refreshed (assuming we initially cast corruption when trinkets were up). If it is in fact the opposite, we would GAIN alot of DPS by making absolutely POSITIVE all trinkets are procc'ed when casting corruption (if upon refresh it keeps its "trinket'ed" state, it will continue doing that much damage long after its intended duration). EJ might have found out what the case is, I have not seen the answer anywhere though.

Makes sense to me. I was actually unaware that doom gets the bonus from the trinket when it is cast not when it ticks. That is an easy fix to my rotation and I will try it out. Thank you for the imput.

Aside from the life tap glyph and a hit/crit boot enchant when you're well above hit cap your app is decent. But your raid experience is currently lacking and I believe it shows with your spotty knowledge of some basic mechanics, so we're declining your app at this time.

Thank you for the input and I have changed those issues. When I get some more experience I will reapply.
